Also known as the “Feast of Tabernacles.” This festival points to the time when Israel lived in temporary shelters and booths during their 40 years of wandering in the wilderness. Sukkot also coincides with the time of harvest and is one of three feasts, which Israelite men were required to observe in Jerusalem.
